Cynthia Gallatin, a higher education leader with over 25 years of experience, joined the University of New Haven in April, 2020.

Having worked at the intersection of education and technology, Cindy brings her expertise in online instruction, and her career has included marketing, sales, admissions, curriculum development, teaching, and extensive management experience. Most recently, she served as Chief Recruitment and Engagement Officer at Northeastern University where she oversaw marketing and admissions for graduate and professional degree programs. She led a staff of 60+ employees throughout North America who supported programs across the university.

Kevin has his MA in English and BA In Media, he has worked in instructional design for multiple universities as well as managing an award winning graphic design firm. He's worked on projects with Carnegie Mellon, Columbia University, and Pfizer among others.

Kevin is also an adjunct instructor of English, Communications, and Media.

Crystal Cohen manages instructional technology and online support for the e-Learning department.  She assists faculty with integrating teaching and learning technologies into their pedagogy, research and other professional activities.  Crystal also helps faculty and students resolve challenges encountered in the delivery of online learning activities.  Crystal has more than 15 years of experience delivering technical training as well as developing online training assets.

Eileen Medinger is a learning designer in the Department of eLearning. She earned an BFA in Art Education and Sculpture from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia), an MFA in Art Education and Sculpture from Concordia University (Montreal), and a Ph.D. in Instructional Design from Capella University (Minneapolis), where her research explored the perceptions of faculty and online course design. Eileen's apprenticed as a graphic designer and worked for diverse clients, and design studios for over 30 years.  

The experience of teaching (graphic design) at Naugatuck Community College and the the unexpected opportunity to develop an online course, lead to an interest in instruction, and eventually, to research and a degree in instructional design. Eileen has held positions at Empire State college, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and the University of New Haven.

Amanda is an Instructional Designer with the Office of Digital Learning.  She earned her BS in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering from Cornell University and MEd in Math Education from Rivier University.  She has over 16 years of design and online teaching experience and brings content to life via technology tools to create an easily navigable, content-rich learning experience that includes engaging discussions and transparent, authentic assessments.  She has held teaching and design positions at Northwestern Connecticut Community College, Western Connecticut State University, Post University, Montana State University, University of Montana Western, The American Women’s College and University of New Haven.

Andrea Sicari- Instructional designer for School of Health Sciences, asicari@newhaven.edu

Andrea in an Instructional Designer in the Department of eLearning. She has a BA in English and a MLIS from SUNY at Buffalo, School of Informatics. She has held various positions at the University of Bridgeport and University of New Haven, focusing on Distance Education, Evidence-Based Medicine, Information Literacy and Instructional Design.
